Is it worth it?

Guys, is it worth finding a basket case and restoring it? Or should I spend more now for a really good example? I'm still on the fence....what are your thoughts?

You need lots of time for a frame off (not to mention tools, skill and patience) but if you want the most personal satisfaction, doing it yourself is the only way to go. Personally I get more from the build than the drive so this is my choice....

On the other hand, there are a fair share of cars selling at BJ these days for a lot less than the owner put into them.

I agree there is alot of someone elses projects out there to buy.
