Barrett Jackson is like the Super Bowl for me and I will be watching every minute of it.

It was another interesting year. I watched just about every minute I could. Lots of good buys this year. And the big buck cars did very well also. Nice to see the Fords and Shelbys creeping up to the Mopars and Chevys. The wife and I picked out about 30 "must haves" if we had the money to burn. ;) Fun to dream anyway. :D

Didn't watch as much as last year, but I watched more than a few hours. Still don't understand why anyone would buy a car there when you know that you're probably paying more than anyone ever has for that car. Seems to me that some of the Mopar prices were down this year, but quality Vettes and anything with the name Shelby on it was gold. Seemed like a lot fewer Corvettes this year than in years past too, especially mid-years. I keep hearing that the bubble has burst on the collector car market, but you certainly couldn't prove it by the BJ auction prices. Anybody else wonder how many of those cars that seemed to go a lot higher than expected were legitimate sales? :D:cool:

I record every minute of the auctions, its soo much fun to watch. Problem is, it gives the owners of similar cars that sell on Barrett Jackson a false sense of value.

I love seeing the really rare cars, like the 70 Corvette ZR2, the LS6 Chevelles, the Yenko cars, the COPO cars, the 58 Impala convertibles, the 54 Packard Carribeans I can go on and on. Love those cars!
