Hi out there looking to possibly get some tech help that is stumping m husband and I on our car. Wondered if any one can help! We have a 1990 Camaro that we tubbed (prostreet) and it has a 350 with a 400 turbo. We recently just got her running but having and idle issue. Granted we have worked on race motors for over 20 years now so either we are missing something so simple we have just overlooked or heck I just don't know. To update a little motor is a 12 to 1 comp motor with a large voodoo lunati cam (very aggressive or lopey). At an idle when motor is 1st started up runs great and sounds right but after it warms up then the idle goes up and down. Yes we have already check for vaccum leaks. And we have tried different modifications to the holley carb as we have done in the past to other vehicles. Nothing we do seems to correct the problem. The carb is a list #4779-8 which is a 750 with the 4 corner idle circuit. We have checked to make sure we are not losing spark when warmed up. If anyone out there has some questions for possble help PLEASE let me know. I really want to get this resolved to be able to get her out before winter hits!! Thanks in advance for looking.
