My first car was a red 1965 Mustang Fastback 2+2. By the “true definition” of muscle car this was not. This would be considered a pony car. I was really proud of my new car and all my buddies had nice classic car as well. It was a basic 289, 2 barrel carb, AT car. Not that fast but I thought it was. I always wanted to make it faster, have better wheels and tires and the best sound system but never seem to have the resources to do it. Six years later I sold the car to help fund my tools to become a licensed automotive technician. As I got older, I really began to miss that first car of mine and told myself when I had the resources to do so I was going to buy a 1965 mustang and restore it from ground up. So here is a picture of that restored mustang. 1965 Mustang restomod GT 350 clone, 347 stroker, 5 speed, ford 9in, 4 wheel disc brakes, AC and rod custom front end with dual wish bone suspension and rack an pinion steering. Finally I had met my goal.
:eek:Do you have a story you would like to share on the home page of MCG forum? If so please PM me with picture and story.
